Is this the end of this story? Is Lyra going to be in a coma forever? IS GREEN DEAD FOREVER? oh god I want to know
You'll note that the last couple of battles were a bit less like that, and I think and hope they worked out a bit better for that reason.
I did notice this! I thought your last battle was much smoother than some of your others that you'd written, which was amazing considering how hectic it was.
You could always write the scenes you didn't get to as bonus extras, like a DVD? I know Kuruk and I are totally writing all these behind-the-scenes....scenes for Miles to Go and including them as sort of...intermissions between chapters, or something. I WANT TO READ MORE OF YOUR WRITING, basically, I will take it any way I can get it.
I was startled when Giovanni and Ghestis both ended up dead. (They are dead, right?) Somehow I didn't...expect it to be so sudden and final? But I guess that's what death is like anyway.
You're right in that you didn't do as much worldbuilding here, though you had so much else to look at that I didn't notice? :(
Also one last time pseudogeek I loved all your art so very much! I agree with axolotl that I really liked it when your style shifted. You're a talented artist! And I loved the small details, like how Zoroark!Julie's nails were tipped red.
(Speaking of Red, axolotl you made me ship N/Red, omg, s t o p you are making me like everything, I am not sure my heart has enough room.)
The chats seemed, well, seamless to me! Perhaps it's because I come from SuJu fandom, where people do chat!fic all the tiiiiime, but it just felt like a part of the fabric of the story, and not notable at all. I guess that's good? Although maybe not what you wanted?
Tl;dr this piece was so delightful, and I'm glad I went through it slowly because it let me savor it :D! You guys are a really great team, congratulations to both of you for completing the big bang!
